Lake Houston Outreach Youth Leadership Academy

Our Youth Academy will begin its inaugural class in September of 2024. We are planning to accept 8-12 members into the first leadership class designed to impact the youth of area. Young leaders must be in grades 6-12 and are required to attend the September and October dates in addition to our community service day and graduation project. Through the Leadership Academy, the youth will learn how to become effective leaders, public and written communication skills, appropriate dress for different events, the importance of serving our community and they will develop lasting relationships in our community. Lake Houston Outreach welcomes everyone of all ages and backgrounds living in any area of our community. Becoming a benefactor of the Youth Academy requires a $100 donation and commitment of time to our community. When you become a Youth Academy Benefactor, you are supporting the youth in our area. It is also suggested that you commit to service in our community. It is our hope that our benefactors will participate in a service project with Lake Houston Outreach in the Fall and Spring. We are also asking that you contribute to a Lake Houston Outreach or Youth Academy sponsored drive in the fall and spring or summer.
